About
My name is Matt Velic, and I’m a SQL Server Database Developer for Sanametrix. I’ve got a business card that proves it. I’m also that SQL Cruise guy. I work with data as a database administrator, developer, and report writer. I’ve mainly worked with Microsoft SQL Server, but have also tested out the waters of Postgres and MySQL. I also design and develop web sites with a specialty in WordPress.
My goal is to make sure that everyone has the proper resources available to succeed. Towards this goal, I try to remain active in the community by blogging as well as speaking and attending events. My CV, as it were, includes moderating Lightning Talks at the 2010 PASS Summit and running communications for SQL Saturday DC.
If you would like to contact me, email is the best venue. I am also on Twitter as @mvelic. Finally, I keep a professional profile on LinkedIn, a public profile on Facebook, and I’ve drunk the Google+ kool-aid too!
