A job posting came across my desk recently. Entitled ROCKSTAR DBA NEEDED, the listing went on to state (emphasis mine):

Our client needs a rock star – not just a DBA. Supporting the development and maintenance of critical applications is the day job. Being a part of a critical government agency that support schools, thinking fast on your feet and being a fire fighter is what makes this job unique and exciting.

News flash: thinking fast on your feet and being a fire fighter is not a unique quality to this DBA position. Though being able to do so correctly does make one a rock star. Anyway, figured you would all enjoy that small anecdote.
