Second Session for SQL Saturday #184 in North Haven

Five Mile Point Lighthouse in New Haven

I’ve been notified that I’ve been selected to give a second session for SQL Saturday #184 in North Haven, CT, on March 2nd. The second session is new, “Build your own Virtual Lab.” Here’s the gist and you can check out a preview.

Build your own Virtual Lab

If you don’t have the chance to work on different kinds of projects, it may be tough to grow all the necessary skills to further your career. By building a virtual lab at home, you can take control of the situation. This session will focus on setting up a basic network environment using VirtualBox, free (downloadable) software, and your home computer. It’s aimed towards individuals that aren’t afraid to modify server settings or use the command line. This session is focused mainly on virtualization, networking, and server topics. However, you’ll be in a great position to tackle SQL Server projects, such as clustering or Availability Groups, once complete.

Go register for the event, and I’ll see you in Connecticut!

    Hello Sir,

I would love to attend your Build Your Own Virtual lab presentaion . But I will be out of the conty till Marach 10th. Is there any other way I can follow along your presentaion. Either online or in person after March 10th. If you could provide any paid links I am willing to buy those. I just hate to miss this as this is something I have been looking for since a long time.

    Regards,
    Nawaz.
