Pro tip: Don’t overextend by committing to too many events that occur at the same time.

The blog’s been quiet and I’ve been busy with both SQL Saturday #96 and our SQLInspire event in NYC. Back to back; technical and inspirational. Ask Andy Leonard, Brian Moran, Tom LaRock, or Joe D’Antoni – they were all at both too. It’s been an interesting six weeks or so… that’s when events get heaviest. Racing against time to finish all the preparations; non-stop organizing, off-the-cuff planning, and no-holds-barred decision making on the day; then all the wrap-up that seems to drag on when you’re begging for a rest.

But it was well worth it. And when I find a little time after Thanksgiving, I’ll be sure to write more about it.
